Hello, and welcome to Alex Carro. This year marks our 10th anniversary - a decade of reimagining skincare since 2016.

We believe in mixable skincare and a less is more approach. Our ten carefully curated products work together, allowing you to personalize your routine at the point of use. We were the first brand to make mixability an everyday practice, giving you complete control over your skincare.

Over these ten years, we’ve witnessed the beauty industry evolve - from the early whispers of ‘less is more’ to the peak of ‘small-batch, buy local’, then the exploitation of words like ‘vegan’, ‘eco-friendly’, and ‘sustainability’, followed by market oversaturation. Trends came and went, but we stayed our course. While buzzwords became marketing tools, we remained committed to genuine quality, transparency, and integrity.

Every product is made small-batch in our Barcelona laboratory, combining 100% natural ingredients with cutting-edge biotechnology. Small-batch production means zero waste, uncompromising quality, and optimum ingredient percentages. Yes, it means you might wait a little longer - but the quality is worth it.

Through AC | LAB, we develop new products in collaboration with our loyal community worldwide. We send prototypes for real-world testing, perfecting formulas based on your feedback before launch. This iterative, community-focused approach is how we empower you to take control of your skin’s lasting health.

Our founder, Alexandra Nodes, was born in London to Spanish and French parents, spending childhood summers among Galicia’s wild coastline and meadows. After studying Modern Languages and Art History, and working in cultural institutions, she moved to Barcelona where her passion for essential oils led her to pioneer mixable skincare in Europe. Her fine arts training and museum background inspired AC | LAB’s collaborative approach.

We fuse science and nature to achieve bio-harmonisation and promote longevity of skin, body, and mind. Through creativity and meticulousness, we create meaningful products with enduring scents and textures that inspire your everyday life.
